I had over 1000 movies and the app lost all of them and in addition the database did not sink There is no customer support to speak of as I tried writing them several times and received no response whatsoever The time I spent scanning my movies was wasted

I love this app it helps me keep track of my movies.

I like the app when it works properly. Its very slow adding the movies and will not add the images from Google. I have over 1000 movies to add, at this rate it is going to take me a while to get them all added. Other than that its works great.

Ive been using this app for a few years. It does a good job of scanning barcodes, which is great for bulk adds, especially when I first started using it. One feature Id like to see is an easy way to switch out the match that was made automatically. As far as I can tell I have to remove the movie and manually add it again. Sometimes I find I have movies with a description in a completely different language. There is a major bug that Im not sure how or why it exists. I have 540 blu-rays in my catalog. When I launch the app, I see none of my movies. Its as if the app started for the first time. I have to kill the app and start it again to get it to load my library. If I wait a while, not sure how long , I have to do the same thing again. The first time this happened I thought I lost the whole library. This problem has existed since iOS 8 and its still around in iOS 9.0.1. Id give this 5 stars if this was fixed.

I would easily give this app at least 4 stars, it is easy to use and great way to keep track of a movie collection. The problem is I scanned in over 400 movies and created an account at icollectmedia.com, now when I try to sync from app to save my collection the app wont let me sign in?? It shows a sign in screen but does not respond, please look at this issue.

Just like the headline says, works but crashes a lot

I have been using this app for several years. However, the syncing of files is taking way too long. I dont know why the website wont let me log in. There is no help available either. Recently my 1,056 movies have been removed from my app and syncing only brings back 322. I am hoping its just a bad day for the app. I will try again tomorrow.

NOTE: This app is no longer supported and Im not sure if the company even still exists. This means you cant actually back up your list or sync it between devices. That glaring issue aside, I actually rather like this app. The scanner and bulk scanner work great, and I can search by genre, length, rating, or actor. Plus its easy to alter or fix any metadata if the length is missing or you dont agree with the genre tag, etc. Can even take your own cover photo if you have something obscure and have to enter all the data manually. (I scanned 300 and only had this problem with 1.) Two other minor issues: 1) When you open the app, it sometimes cant find my movie list immediately. Click to another screen like Wishlist then back, and itll find everything. 2) Very occasionally a barcode wont scan right and will bring up data for the wrong movie. Rescan or manually search to add instead. Just means you have to pay attention and double check when doing large amounts of bulk scanning so you dont end up with a few mistakes. So overall I really like this app, but Im not sure I would have chosen it over other options if I knew it wasnt supported. (The thought of rescanning everything if my phone dies is not pleasant.)

When I first bought this app I thought it was the best thing since buttered bread and then one day when I went to access my movies they had all disappeared! Have been unable to bring them back and their "help" has been virtually nil. Now my app just freezes and you cant access anything. Please get rid of this app in the App Store! It is useless.

This app worked great up until fall of 2015- then I got an iPhone 6 Plus and tried to sync my 500+ movies from my iPhone 5 and cannot do it!!! WTH?? Am I seriously supposed to rescan all of these movies?
